Zach attended law school at the University of Illinois on a substantial merit-based scholarship, graduating cum laude. While at the U of I, his article about long-term care financing reform was published by the Illinois Elder Law JournalHe also received the Ward F. McDonald scholarship for excellence in real estate, and was selected as a runner-up for the Paul Lisnek Award, which is given for excellence in law school trial advocacy.

Throughout law school, Zach worked at BRE Law as a law clerk. Prior to joining us, he spent many years working in the construction industry, first as a non-union worker for his grandfather’s construction company and then as a union fire sprinkler fitter for Local 669.

Today, Zach mainly focuses his practice on personal injury, workers compensation, products liability, and construction/real estate litigation. Zach works on all of the firm’s mass tort and class action cases, and is currently serving on the leadership committee of a nationwide class action concerning an allegedly deceptively marketed and labeled product, 303 Tractor Hydraulic Fluid.

Zach is married to Morgan, an ICU nurse. They live in Mt. Zion with their two Goldendoodles, Mabel and Izzy.
